Welcome to the 2nd Annual Race Down Memory Lane benefiting the Alzheimers Day Services of Memphis, Inc.!

Alzheimer’s Day Services of Memphis is staging its second annual Race Down Memory Lane: 10K Race and “Fun Run” on Saturday morning, May 30, 2009.  With the help of the Memphis Runners Club, we look to have a successful race.  Exercise plays a significant role in everyone’s life, strengthening the mind along with the body.  We think it is a perfect fit to have a run as part of the ADS program.  Race Down Memory Lane is also a family event, with an after-race party where race participants can enjoy music, food, and prizes!

Since 1983, ADS has been providing an affordable stimulating therapeutic day program for those living with Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders.  The cost of the daily program is over $70.00, but the organization asks participants and their families to pay $30.00 per day.  ADS is a local, non-profit agency which is not affiliated with or supported by any national organization.

ADS provides a safe, stimulating environment from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday for those living with Alzheimer's disease or related disorders while providing education, support, and relief for the caregivers and families.  Two convenient locations to serve the Memphis area:  Grashot Center at 4585 Raleigh LaGrange Road in Kennedy Park and Dorothy’s Place at 3185 Hickory Hill Road at Knight Arnold.
